Jasio Velasco integrates his career as a violinist and composer with that of an actor & clown.
He began his career creating music for the theater. In 2006 he received awards for the award-winning show Gramática Parda by the Entrecuerdas Quartet, followed by Todo Concuerda by the dance company B612, Historia de un Cuadro by Salvador Collado Producciones, and with the company Síndrome Clown: 5 Horas sin Mario and Cine Clown 3D.
Since 2008 he has composed for the Classic Theater of Seville: Don Juan Tenorio, Carmen, Julia, a Theatrical Journey, and other works in which he intervenes as an actor, El Buscón, La Estrella de Sevilla, Hamlet and Don Quixote en la patera.
Among his personal projects as a creator, interpreter and composer, the following stand out: the musical theater company Treta Trío with the titles: La Muerte de la Oveja and Los Ángeles caídos and Los Hers with the musical La Vida de los Muertos.
As an actor & musician he participates in Stockholm, de acaba el cuento by the theater company Síndrome Clown, Ciudad Cero by the Banda de La María, Esperando a Godot by Excéntricas Producciones and La otra mano de Cervantes by Teatro La Fundición.
In 2014 he received the Best Andalusian Music Theater Author Award. He also composes soundtracks for different short films: Quema el monte, no hay sitio para todos, written and directed by himself, Cardio by Mario Barranco, Nature by Antonio Álamo and Doctor León Pedicuro, The asymmetrical woman and The husband was a fumigator of fields of Ana Ruiz.
He is currently part of the musical project José Torres Trío, turning La Suite del Reloj.
